How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I enjoyed doing crafts and made several gift baskets for friends. They were a big hit, so I did some research on small businesses and gift baskets, and discovered that gift baskets were expected to become popular in the 1990s.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are home-based and able to keep costs down. We may be a small business but we are big on customer service and greatly rely on referrals by customers.
